Our Story

S.H. Winsor Construction is a third generation family-owned business in Glocester, Rhode Island. Our story began in 1977 with father-son duo Harrison and Steve Winsor Sr. digging and building cesspools by hand in northwestern Rhode Island. The father-son tradition continued when Steve Sr. took over the company with his son, Steve Jr., as an apprentice. Today, Steve Sr. takes on a consulting role to his son who proudly continues the family legacy. 

Our company is registered and insured, specializing in licensed septic system repair, design and installation, light and heavy excavation, land clearing/stump removal, foundation holes, trenching, and more. With decades of experience, we’re equipped to help tackle your next project.
